The Gong ("the Service") is operated by The Gong B.V., the Netherlands. The Service connects supported smart doorbells to compatible speakers (Sonos, Apple HomePod, etc.) so that doorbell rings play through the user's audio system.
You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. We use one-time email codes (no passwords) for sign-in.
New accounts get a free 7-day trial of the Pro plan. After the trial you may continue with the Basic plan or subscribe to Pro. Subscriptions are billed annually via Stripe, the App Store, or Google Play, depending on how you subscribed. You may cancel any time from your account settings.
To play your doorbell rings on speakers, you authorize The Gong to connect to your doorbell account (Ring, Nest, Eufy, etc.) and your speaker account (Sonos). We use the minimum scopes required and never share your credentials with third parties. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.
Don't use the Service to harass others, attempt to compromise our infrastructure, or violate the terms of any connected service (Ring, Sonos, etc.).
The Service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep doorbell rings reaching your speakers, but cannot guarantee 100% delivery (third-party APIs go down, networks have hiccups). The Service is not a substitute for a working doorbell.
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
